Amazon.com just announced that customers who pre-order
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions from their store will receive an awesome bonus. Pre-order customers will get to enjoy an exclusive art book featuring concept art, character renders, and environments from the web-slinger's new title developed by Beenox, as well as a bonus unlockable costume, "Iron Spider-Man," for use as an alternate to the recently announced Spider-Man 2099 costume.
For those that are just catching up, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is the web-head's new game that spans his entire career. The game will encompass four unique universes: Amazing Spider-Man (the Spider-Man you know and love), the cyber-punk futuristic Spider-Man 2099, and a dark, noir take on Spidey's adventures. The fourth has yet to be announced. The story involves a magical energy tablet of Order and Chaos that is shattered and sent through parallel dimensions. Each of the four versions of Spider-Man will have their own set of abilities and attributes consistent with their universe, for example "Noir" Spidey is very stealthy and uses his wall-climbing to sneak up on bad guys for silent takedowns.
