Metro: Last Light E3 Demo Released

Company: THQ
Product: Metro: Last Light

Metro: Last Light was one of E3 2011's unexpected surprises. I liked Metro 2033, but honestly didn't expect to see a sequel. I also didn't expect it so soon, or for it to look so great.

Today, THQ released the first part of the the E3 2011 demo on Metro: Last Light's official Facebook Page. The video is the first of a promised 3-part gameplay demo. Entitled "Prologue," the first video shows off some of the game's complex lighting mechanic, such as the neat "shoot the pot" example I mentioned in our E3 coverage .

The demo also hints at the revamped combat mechanic, which was one of Metro 2033's weaker aspects.

The second installment will be released at a later date.
