Here's the promo in a nutshell... You consume specially marked packages of Mountain Dew and Doritos and you enter the code you find on the packaging at the DewXP - Rank Up Your Game website to earn Double XP time. Each Gamer ID can earn and use up to 24 hours of Double XP time and can redeem a maximum of 750 codes.
That's not all, though. There are also (electronic) collectible trading cards that each give you access to goodies in COD: MW3... and completed sets award an additional 15 minutes of "Double XP" time.
