Move Over Oprah, Here Comes Trejo...

Actor and Los Angeles native Danny Trejo is the next in line to provide unique insights into his life with the launch of "TREJO," a limited edition print and digital magazine. "TREJO" was created in collaboration with MyMag.

The "TREJO" MyMag is a luxury magazine that mixes TREJO's favorite articles with content from the actor himself. "TREJO" presents an in-depth look at the long and varied history of this unlikely action hero and Hollywood insider.

From his first work with director and second cousin Robert Rodriguez on the 1995 film Desperado to the duo's recent hit movie Machete (Trejo's first lead role), the actor gets highly personal in his MyMag. His story and photo selections from Inked magazine clue us in on his taste in tattoos, along with his taste in music—from Velvet Revolver to vintage Guns n' Roses. Guitarist Slash is one of Trejo's favorites. Trejo's pick from movie magazine Empire is what he calls the best piece ever written about Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.


TREJO joins a list of tastemakers—including boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs and mind-body healing pioneer Deepak Chopra—in launching his own MyMag magazine. MyMag is an innovative, engaging new media platform that enables celebrities and other tastemakers to establish a more personal connection with their fans. In creating their own magazine, they can share content from the publications that inspire them, while simultaneously endorsing specific brands.
