Rescue Me Coming to Crackle.com

Company: Crackle.com
Product: Rescue Me

I've said before that some of the best things on television these days... aren't on television. With advancements in technology making it possible for anyone to make decent videos with a cellphone or really good videos with a decent SLR camera, there's a lot of entertainment to be found on the Internet. What I hadn't really thought about too much was the normal television programming that's making its way onto the Internet, whether it be via YouTube, Hulu or, in this case, Crackle.com...

Crackle, the multi-platform entertainment network, announced today that the iconic and critically acclaimed, drama series "Rescue Me", will be added to Crackle's extensive content line-up beginning Monday, October 1st. Starring Denis Leary as a veteran fireman in post-9/11 New York City, the Emmy and Golden Globe -nominated series that concluded in 2011 will be released in its entirety with seasons rolling out through March 2013. Crackle is the first multi-platform network to present the entire series free to viewers.

Rescue Me's Schedule on Crackle.com

  • November '12: Seasons 1, 2, 3
  • December '12: Seasons 3, 4
  • January '13: Seasons 4, 5
  • February '13: Seasons 5, 6, 7
  • March '13: Seasons 6, 7

"Rescue Me" joins Crackle's library of full-length TV episodes with additional popular series including "Married… With Children" and "The Three Stooges," along with thousands of anime episodes. The series also joins Crackle's acclaimed portfolio of original content including the recently announced thriller "Chosen," starring and executive produced by Milo Ventimiglia and the long-form anthology series "The Unknown," starring Dominic Monaghan. This collection complements Crackle's popular on-demand movie selection including Donnie Brasco, We Own The Night, Silent Hill and Ultraviolet, among many more.

Crackle is the only service offering hundreds of TV series and Hollywood movies full-length, unedited, on demand and 100% free across multiple platforms and services. In late August 2012, the award-winning app, with over 11 million mobile downloads since its launch in the spring of 2011, was made available on Windows Phones, Barnes & Noble's NOOK Tablet devices and on Amazon's Kindle Fire. Additional platforms include Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game consoles; Sony Internet TV, Blu-ray players and BRAVIA televisions; Roku streaming players; Android phones and tablets; and the iPhone, iPad and iPod, among others. The service is free to download and offers unlimited free viewing of all the movies, TV series and Crackle original programming available on Crackle.com.
