XTRA! ESO Midyear Mayhem PVP Event

To celebrate the legendary hero Pelinal Whitestrake and his victory at the Bridge of Heldon, ESO is having their first ever Midyear Mayhem PvP event, starting today and going through the end of the month. Participate for your chance to get your own Laurel Wreath, earn double Alliance Points, PvP gear, and rare crafting items. This new event features brand new rewards tailored for PvP players is going on now and will end on July 31st at 10am EDT.

A 5 Step Program...

Getting in on this isn't difficult, but you have to follow these steps:
  1. In the Crown Store: Acquire and Activate "Details on the Midyear Mayhem"
  2. Travel to your Alliance War faction's main gate in Cyrodiil using the Alliance War menu
  3. Find the quest giver "Predicant Maera" and pick up the quest "Midyear Mayhem"
  4. Complete the quest to receive your *Scroll of Pelinal's Ferocity and a Pelinal's Midyear Boon Box
  5. Activate the scroll to enjoy two hours of double (2x) Alliance Points earned in the following PvP game modes (Duels excluded):
    • Alliance War (Cyrodiil)
    • Imperial City (Imperial City DLC game pack is required)
    • Battlegrounds (ESO: Morrowind is required)
*The Scroll of Pelinal's Ferocity will remain in your inventory after use, allowing you to re-use it for the duration of the event.

The Midyear Victor's Laurel Wreath

As you participate in group PvP activities during the event, you can earn your way to bragging rights and a new collectible hat: the golden Midyear Victor's Laurel Wreath. Earn all of the "Star-Made Knight" achievements by completing each of the seven unique Midyear Mayhem event achievements to get yours.

NOTE: that in order to complete all of these achievements, both the Imperial City DLC game pack and the ESO: Morrowind Chapter are required.


Unique Rewards

In addition to the standard rewards, during the Midyear Mayhem Event, you will also receive Pelinal's Midyear Boon Boxes as rewards. These special event reward boxes will contain Tel Var Stones and give you a chance to receive one of the following rewards:
  • Alchemy reagents
  • PvP consumables such as repair kits, forward camps, and siege weapons
  • Motif pages for your Alliance and Akaviri
  • Style items for your Alliance and Akaviri
  • Coldharbour siege weapons
  • Prismatic Runestones
  • Books of Pelinal housing items

The Golden is Selling Alliance War Exclusives...

During the weekends of the event, Adhazabi Aba-daro, AKA The Golden, will offer all of the Legendary-quality jewelry (that can usually only be earned via the Alliance War) for sale, accepting only Alliance points as payment. The jewelry offered includes necklaces (available this weekend) and rings (available next weekend). You can find Adhazabi in the Western Elsweyr Gate, Northern High Rock Gate, or Southern Morrowind Gate once you enter Cyrodiil.

Finally, from July 27th until July 31st, you can pick up the Midyear Mayhem Crowns bundle in the Crown Store. This bundle includes three Imperial crowns celebrating the Midyear Mayhem event: the Circlet, the Coronet, and the Diadem.

Limited Time and Already Underway...

Whether you're more into the all out warfare, smaller street-fighting found in the Imperial City or the fast-paced action of the Battlegrounds, the Midyear Mayhem event makes it a little more rewarding to jump in and mix things up for the next couple of weeks. What are you waiting for?
