Major League Gaming (MLG), the preeminent console gaming league for professional video game players, video game enthusiasts, and fans, is holding its first event of the 2005 season. Players from all around the country are expected to gather at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, VA for the season opener. The general public is invited to attend for the absolute gaming mayhem where top players and neighborhood heroes alike will compete for serious cash and bragging rights.
Competition begins Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. ET and finishes up on the 30th. Halo 2 and Super Smash Bros. will be some of the games played throughout the event.
