Planetwide Games has announced a historic event of epic proportion; that after seven years of development, the RYL: Path of the Emperor Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) has gone into open beta phase for North America. Planetwide Games will operate open beta for a limited time only until the golden launch date of March 1, 2005. RYL: Path of the Emperor currently has more than 8.2 million online players worldwide. In 2003, 88 million people played online games worldwide, and 198 million are expected to be playing online games by 2008.

In RYL: Path of the Emperor, players meet other players in a diverse online global community where they complete specific quests and missions, fight monsters and other players, battle in Guild vs. Guild duels, buy, sell, and trade virtual merchandise, build fortresses, and even raise their own Dragon. Lastly, RYL players have the ultimate gaming reward to become the actual emperor and rule over the land.
