Hurricane Pack now Available

Company: Tecmo
Product: Ninja Gaiden

One slight against console gaming is that the games quickly become stale. Even though some try, this is a claim that is hard to argue against. With the advent of online console gaming (and console hard drives), a few companies have begun offering downloadable content for certain games in order to freshen things up a little. As great of an advancement this is (the downloadable content for Knights of the Old Republic was enough to get me to run through the game for a 5th time), no content download has really pushed the idea far enough, at least until now.

Enter the Ninja.

When Tecmo released Ninja Gaiden earlier this year, it was met with accolades by gamers everywhere. It was also met with a few jeers, mostly concerning the camera, which turned out to be a bit of a headache for most people. In response Team Ninja is releasing the Hurricane Pack, downloadable content available only through Xbox Live. In addition to a new 3rd person camera control, the Hurricane Pack also includes new enemies, a new weapon, new outfits and an even deadlier AI. Stock up on the cheap controllers -- you're going to need them.
