GMX Media and Cornered Rat Software have announced a public beta and stress test for the upcoming release of World War II Online: Battleground Europe. Beginning at noon (CT U.S.) on Thursday, August 25, 2005, account creation forms will be made available on the official website for test accounts. Participants will receive instructions on how to download the pre-release client and information on where to submit error reports. Space will be limited for the test which will run from August 25th through Sunday August 28th. In addition, GMX Media and Cornered Rat Software have opened the official Battleground Europe website. Gamers can go there for all the latest information and updates to Battleground Europe, report for duty, and find out more about the biggest World War II massive multiplayer game available.
