Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament Finals Set

Konami has announced details of the United States Finals of the official 2006 Yu-Gi-Oh! video game tournament. Sixteen players selected from a nationwide online contest will compete at the Comic-Con International Consumer Expo in San Diego Calif. on July 23rd for the U.S. title. The top four duelists from the U.S. tournament will win valuable prizes and advance to the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Finals in Tokyo, Japan August 5th - 6th for a chance to compete against the best players from around the globe and a shot at being crowned World Champion.

The U.S. Finals of the 2006 Yu-Gi-Oh! video game tournament will be conducted at the Konami booth (#4335) at Comic-Con on July 23rd, during the hours of 10 AM and 5 PM. Competitors will be using the Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters World Championship Tournament 2006 video game for the Game Boy Advance. The game contains more than 2,000 cards to collect and new modes of play that let duelists hone their skills to perfection. New modes such as Theme Duel, Duel Puzzle and Limited Duel puts players into special situations they might encounter in head to head action, expanding their abilities and preparing them for tournament play. One on one duels are supported through the Game Boy Advance Game Link cable.
