Road Thrills 4-in-1 Pack

Score: 100%
ESRB: Unknown
Publisher: Infogrames
Developer: Wizard Works
Media: CD/4
Players: 1 (plus Online Multiplayer)
Genre: Racing

Graphics & Sound:

All four games have excellent graphics and texture mapping when using a 3D accelerated video card. Everything is quite smooth and even in the maximum resolution possible, all of the games in the Road Thrills pack were nearly flawless with the exception of the Harley-Davidson game, where there was a slight frame-rate slippage every once in a while (but nothing extreme).

The sound quality of each of the games varied, but for the most part, all were pretty good. I especially enjoyed the crunching of cars and revving of engines in Dirt Track Racing.

Gameplay:

Each of the 4 games in Road Thrills has its own qualities, and with this package deal, you will get a variety of what you want... pure racing excitement! Harley-Davidson Race Across America is more of a novelty game for those that like to strap on their boots and straddle their hog. The basic concept is for you to hop onto your bike and race across different states, competing for cash prizes, and ending the run in famous Sturgis, SD. Just don't forget to stop for gas or you'll be sucking dirt as your competition races by.

Difficulty:

Of course, all four games will vary, but overall, all of the games in the Road Thrills pack are easy to start playing. To do well, it may take some practice, but there is nothing overly difficult in any of the games that will discourage you from playing it. All are straightforward driving titles, each with its own unique twist.

Game Mechanics:

Road Thrills contains 4 very good games, and all are pretty easy to set up. I would recommend at least using a control pad (if not a steering wheel), but you will be able to play with the keyboard too. I also recommend a 3D accelerator card, as all games will have greatly improved graphics and game speed, and because in order to play
